Where they differ
Atlanta is the stronger walking city: about three times as many notable places within walking distance of the centre, and about three times as many museums, clustered close enough to cover several on foot. It also has roughly twice as much park space near the centre.
Orlando is built around families, with 20 theme parks within reach against Atlanta's one, and greener surroundings: 15% of the land nearby is protected against 1% around Atlanta. Its notable places are scattered rather than clustered.
Where they are alike
Neither is a swimming destination. Orlando has one beach nearby, Atlanta none, and neither sees a month of sea at 21°C or more.
