What the numbers don't tell you
The daily budget figures, €131 for Bled's country and €138 for Zadar's, are national estimates of restaurant and hotel price levels, not measurements of either city. Heavily visited places can sit well off their country average, so the small gap between the two says nothing about which trip costs more.
No weather station near Zadar reports sunshine hours, so that side of the weather comparison is unmeasured and its monthly picture rests on temperature, rainfall and sea temperature alone. A count of 49 beaches also says nothing about how full they are in August, when the sea is at its warmest.
