Where they differ
Munich puts more within walking distance of the centre, roughly twice as many notable places and attractions, and about three times the park space. Turin runs warmer through the year, 7-29°C against 4-25°C, and although the two hold similar numbers of museums, its day trips reach more UNESCO-listed places.
Where they are alike
Neither city is a swimming destination. Munich has 6 beaches within reach and Turin 1, but neither has a month with sea at 21°C or more, so water is a side trip rather than a reason to book either.

The daily budget figures, €163 and €155, are national estimates of restaurant and hotel prices, not measurements of Munich or Turin. A large or heavily visited city can sit well away from its country's average, by more than the gap between them, so neither figure tells you which trip will cost more.
