Where they differ
Belgrade is the denser city. It has about three times as many restaurants near the centre as Brasov and a wider range of kitchens, many times as many museums, and many times as many bars and nightclubs, with most of both close to the centre. What the numbers don't tell you
The daily budget is a national estimate of restaurant and hotel price levels, not a measurement of either city. Both countries land at about €99 a day, and a capital or a heavily visited town can sit well away from its own national average, by more than the gap between two such figures.
No weather station near Brasov reports sunshine hours, so that figure is missing rather than low, and its monthly picture rests on temperature and rainfall alone. Brasov's driest months are also its coldest, with highs of 2-6°C, so low rainfall there does not mean a comfortable month outdoors.

Brasov's summer starts wet and improves: rain eases through August, when highs reach 27°C, and September still holds 22°C. Its winters are the drier season, under 35mm a month, but highs of 2-6°C make that a cold-weather trip rather than a mild one.
