Where they differ
Bled's draw is the land around it: 20% of it is protected, against 4% around Venice, which makes for walking and day trips into open country from a town of about 5,000 people.
Venice concentrates far more into its centre: many times as many notable places within walking distance, around three times as many museums, and those museums sit tightly around the centre. It also has 20 beaches nearby against Bled's 3, and sea warm enough for swimming across four months of the year, which Bled has none of.
Where they are alike
On price the two sit close. The national estimates are €131 for Bled's country and €155 for Venice's, restaurant and hotel price levels rather than measurements of either city, so cost is unlikely to decide it.

What the numbers don't tell you
The daily budget figures are national estimates of restaurant and hotel price levels, €131 and €155, not measurements of Bled or Venice. A heavily visited city can sit well above its own country's average, and that gap can exceed the difference between the two national figures, so treat them as background rather than as a verdict on cost.
Venice's beach and family strengths land in the same months as the warmest weather, when a compact centre is busiest. Bled's best months are also its wettest, peaking at 139mm, so the warmest weather and the driest weather do not arrive together.

Bled peaks from June to August, when highs reach 25-27°C. Those are also its wettest months, up to 139mm, so count on afternoon rain; September eases off and still reaches 21°C.
Venice holds a longer season, warm from May onwards, with 30°C at the height of summer and sea at 25-26°C for swimming; September is warm too, but brings the heaviest rain of the year at 106mm, which suits a trip built around walking the centre rather than the water.
