Where they differ

What the numbers don't tell you
The value comparison between these two carries no information. It is a national price level, identical for both by construction, and the €155 daily budget beside it is a single national estimate rather than a measurement of either city. Price the trip yourself before letting cost decide.
Florence's driest months are also its most uncomfortable: July and August fall to 32-35mm of rain while highs sit at 32-33°C. And its walkability advantage is counted near the centre, which is where visitors concentrate, so the same density that shortens your walking also means queues and crowded streets in peak months.
