What the numbers don't tell you
The value comparison between these two carries no information. It is a national price level, identical for both by construction, and the €155 a day beside it is one national estimate rather than a measurement of either place. Neither is the cheaper trip on this evidence; the real difference will come from what you book and when.
Sorrento's beach count describes a coastline reached from a town of about 15,400 people, not 78 separate walks from your door, and the listed places credited to it are day trips, so part of its appeal assumes you will travel out.
