Where they differ
Paris has many times as many notable places within walking distance of the centre, so a day needs less transport. It also has many times as many places to drink and many times as many nightclubs, though in both cities about half sit near the middle. Restaurants near the centre are many times more numerous too.

The daily budget figures, €160 and €181, are national price levels for restaurants and hotels, not measurements of either city. A capital or a heavily visited city can sit far from its own country average, by more than the gap between these two figures, so neither tells you which trip will cost more.
