Where they differ
Belgrade's evenings run wider: many more places to drink and a far larger number of nightclubs, most of them inside the same central walk, backed by somewhat more restaurants near the centre. The national daily budget estimate for Serbia is €99 against €132 for Slovakia.
Bratislava's heritage reaches past the city limits, with UNESCO-listed places within day-trip reach where Belgrade has none, so museum days pair naturally with an excursion. Belgrade holds somewhat more museums in the city itself, but they stay in the city.
Where they are alike
Neither city is a swimming destination. Both are inland, with no month when the water reaches 21°C, so bathing means a river or a lake rather than a coast.
Families and days out of town are close calls too. Each has one theme park within reach and much the same number of attractions near the centre, and neither stands out for trips into nature. Winters are cold in both, at 5°C and 3°C in January.

A group planning late nights should take Belgrade. It has roughly twice the drinking places and three times the nightclubs of Bratislava, concentrated near the centre, with more restaurants inside the same walk.

Families face a near-even call. Belgrade has about twice as much park space near the centre and warmer shoulder months; each city has 1 theme park within reach, and the number of attractions near the centre is much the same.
What the numbers don't tell you
The daily budget figures, €99 and €132, are national estimates of restaurant and hotel price levels in Serbia and Slovakia, not measurements of Belgrade or Bratislava. A capital can sit further from its own country's average than the two national figures sit from each other, so the gap is not evidence that one of these cities costs more than the other.
Bratislava's 36 nearby beaches sound decisive, but these are river and lake spots, and no month in either city brings water to 21°C or above. Neither is credited with a swimming season, so read the figure as summer riverside space rather than a bathing holiday.

Belgrade's warm stretch is the longer one, running May to September with highs of 24-30°C. June is its wettest month at 95mm, so early summer brings showers, but the autumn shoulder holds its warmth better than Bratislava's for walking.
Bratislava is at its best in July and August, both around 27°C, though rain runs at 70-78mm through those two months. April is its driest at 42mm, but it is markedly cooler then, better suited to sightseeing and indoor visits than to sitting outside.
