Where they differ

Where they are alike

What the numbers don't tell you
The daily budget figure is a national estimate of restaurant and hotel prices, €95 for Kotor's country and €155 for Sorrento's, not a measurement of either town. Coastal places that take a lot of visitors can sit well above their own national average, by more than the gap between these two figures, so treat it as background rather than a forecast of your costs.
The other trap is reading warm as dry. Kotor's September still reaches 27°C and looks like an easy shoulder month, but it is among its wettest at 173mm. A strong beach rating says nothing about the rain that lands on it.
