Where they differ

Venice's beach advantage counts 20 beaches nearby rather than sand at the door, and the sea only passes 21°C in high summer, the same weeks when daytime highs reach 30°C and the city is at its most visited. Strasbourg's rain also peaks in May at 77mm, inside its warm season.
