Where they differ
Berlin packs about three times as many notable places within walking distance of the centre, so days can be planned on foot with little transport. It also has around twice as many bars and twice as many nightclubs, spread well beyond the centre, which makes for a longer, more varied night out.
Frankfurt's advantage is outside the city: 28% of the surrounding land is protected against 20% around Berlin, giving more scope for day trips into countryside. Its nightlife is smaller but concentrated near the centre.
Where they are alike
Eating out works much the same in both. Berlin has about as many restaurants near the centre as Frankfurt, and the range of kitchens is similar, so neither forces a compromise on where to eat.

The value comparison between these two carries no information. Both sit on the same national price level, identical by construction, and the daily figure of €163 is one national estimate rather than a measurement of Berlin or Frankfurt. Compare them on what varies locally instead.
Berlin's 17 beaches nearby sound decisive against Frankfurt's 4, but neither city has a month of water at 21°C or more, so swimming is brief and weather-dependent in both. The same caution applies to the summer peak: the warmest months are also the wettest, with July the rainiest month in each city.

Frankfurt warms earlier, 12°C in March against Berlin's 9°C, and reaches 26°C in July and August. Rain is more even through the year, 60-68mm across the summer, so a warm month there is rarely a dry one.
